We are resuming normal trash service, Monday, February 22nd.

If your neighborhood wasn’t been serviced over the weekend, or your were missed, you will get service on your next scheduled service day!  

Sunday, February 21, 2021

Customers that have Once-Weekly Service on Monday’s or Thursday’s you will have trash service today (Feb 21st), we will only service trash.  Please set carts out by 6 a.m. or the night before to ensure pick-up.   If you have extra trash, set it out, we will take the trash that has accumulated. 

Our phones will open around 9 am. If you could please be patient as we try to return emails, messages and answer calls. 

If your neighborhood hasn’t been serviced yet, you will get service on your next scheduled service day!  Thank you!

Saturday, February 20, 2021

Friday Routes will run today (Feb 20th), we will only service trash.  Please set carts out by 6 a.m. or the night before to ensure pick-up.  

Our phones will open around 9 am. We are running a skeleton crew in the office, if you could please be patient as we try to return messages and answer calls. 

We know most customers will have extra trash.  If there’s some you might be able to hold on to until your next service day, that would help us tremendously.  However, if you do set out extra trash, we will pick it up!

THURSDAY customers on the southern side of Bexar County and in Atascosa – WILL HAVE SERVICE TODAY.

Due to inclement weather conditions, all of Metro Waste collection service routes have been suspended.

With the severe winter weather affecting the safety of our drivers, our employees and communities we serve, we’re unable to service you as scheduled.  Your service will now be provided when conditions allow.  If we’re unable to service you as scheduled, we will collect any excess waste missed due to this event when we complete your next pickup.

We will continue to monitor and share updates on when collection will resume.  We hope everyone is able to stay safe and warm through this storm.

Due to inclement weather conditions, all of Metro Waste collection service routes have been suspended for Tuesday, February 16, 2021. For the safety of our drivers, employees and communities we serve, Metro is postponing collection as our service area continues to experience wintry mix weather. We will continue to monitor and share updates on when collection will resume.  We hope all of our customers and families are staying safe and warm.
